Another Guy in a Suit

Here's my copy of Thomas Eakins' "Portrait of Frank B.A. Linton" (1904).























Copying great painters is a very enjoyable way to learn. I look forward to absorbing more of their secrets.

I wasn't familiar with the original, so I had to look it up. You really did a great job on this one in capturing both the likeness and the style.

Thanks, Ian. Trying to duplicate another painter's style is both challenging and fun. I feel like I can really learn a lot from doing this.
